Vital Pulp Therapy

Our research focused on identifying cellular and subcellular changes in human dental pulp following Vital Pulp Therapy using white MTA Angelus®. For this, we monitored the stages of tissue regeneration and healing after VPT, using electron microscopy at regular intervals. Methodology Sample: Four human teeth scheduled for extraction—two upper second premolars and two third molars. None of the selected teeth showed signs of pulpitis. VPT was performed on each tooth.
