Modified Apexification

If you believe in biology and stem cell therapy, you should believe in the Modified Apexification technique to continue root development—even in cases with apical pathosis where stem cells are there! A 9-year-old female patient attended the clinic with a chronic apical abscess (sinus tract), open apices, and internal resorption in the mesial root. In addition to all of that, the patient was uncooperative, and I had to work in the pediatric room with the application of nitrous oxide—and without the microscope!
